Are there any legitimate work at home businesses?

Lacey asked:

I need a second income, and my day shift job does not allow me to have a true second job. I am curious to know if there are any legitimate online work at home businesses.

There are legitimate work at home businesses which you can do in your spare time. But, they need a lot of your time too to be successful. You have to put some effort into them just as you put a lot of effort into your work. Fortunately, most of them offer a lot of support and guide you through the process. It is not easy at the beginning, but as you get used to the process, it gets better, and you can be able to make more money. Be aware of scams. If looks too good to be true, then it is too good to be true.

There is an internet marketing website. It has loads of information on how to get started and it even comes with a free guide so you can decide if you want to join or not!

Yes, and I have found one! If you want a REAL job with a corporate headquarters (located in Texas), not some mythical online office, with daily pay, dental benefits, 401(k) , direct deposit and more, check this out. You won’t get rich quick, but you will make a real residual income for years. Good luck and hope to see you on our team!

You might want to give oDesk a try. Register here to work as a freelancer and display your resume to a large number of employers. You may also apply for jobs here as you do offline, like submitting application letters, employer interview, etc. Jobs range from simple copy-paste work to highly technical programming problems. If you’re artistic, there are also a number of projects which let you design brochures, fliers, or even websites.

You can choose how many hours you allot a week on a project and you have the freedom when to work during the day. So, in here, you can work part time, or even full time. oDesk offers guaranteed payments so long as you use their software that monitors your work. I’ve earned a few dollars myself in here.

They pay you via PayPal or bank wire with minimal fees.

    Hi!
I looked for a work-at-home business for a long time, but all I found were companies asking me to pay money to get started. Recently, however, I found a legitimate site that is really like a job. They will ask for no money, and you get personal training through group calls, individual calls, and e-mails. The job is simple and easy to start. All you need is a computer, a phone, and just a little bit of spare time. If you, or anyone else reading this, is interested, please feel free to contact me. My e-mail is. Just send me a quick note with your e-mail and name, and I will help get you started. Hope I helped!
